Stop and Smell the Roses
Sometimes you've got to relax and take things slow, and where better to stop and smell the roses than the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden? Located just a short drive from our Bay Area hotel and free to the public, the garden has been around for over 100 years and boasts more than 4,000 rose shrubs with 189 varieties of roses. The April to November season is the prime time for seeing the most of the garden's colorful blooms, but there's almost always something blooming. There's also a picturesque fountain and a picnic area. So pack a lunch and head here for some fragrant al fresco dining.
