Free Concerts at Fremont's Central Park Summer Concert Series

The gorgeous scenery and temperate climate here in Northern California mean that you’ll have no trouble finding outdoor entertainment this time of year. If you’re looking for a top-notch music fest, we recommend a relaxing drive down to Fremont for the Central Park Summer Concert Series. On Thursdays from 6 to 8 P.M., now through August 3, the summer sky at Central Park Performance Pavilion will resound with the dulcet tones of acts that cover the gamut from classic rock, to cool jazz, to disco inferno, to soulful R&B. Here’s the line-up: Caravanserai on July 6, Pop Fiction on July 13, Aja Vu and Stealin’ Chicago on July 20, Jukebox Heroes on July 27, and East Bay Mudd on August 3. So pack a blanket or folding chairs for maximum comfort as you relax out on the lawn. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic, but a variety of food will also be available for purchase. And don’t worry about the kids getting bored: Bay Area Jump has arranged a “Kids’ Fun Zone” to ensure the little ones stay happy and that they’ll be tuckered out by bedtime.

The Performance Pavilion is located in Central Park, next to 40204 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538.
